Actors Noah Jupe, 21, and his younger brother Jacobi Jupe, 12, made their BAFTA debuts alongside parents Chris Jupe and Katy Cavanagh at the 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards on February 22 at the Royal Festival Hall. The family appeared together for photos at VIP arrivals, celebrating the siblings’ rising careers, including their roles in the film Hamnet.

Noah Jupe, known for A Quiet Place, Ford v. Ferrari, Wonder, and The Night Manager, walked the red carpet with Romeo & Juliet co-star Sadie Sink, 23. He described her as:

“She’s so cool, man, she’s annoyingly cool, and she’s so, like, chill and lovely and professional. I honestly really respect her in a big way.”

Katy Cavanagh has accompanied her sons to earlier events this year, including the Critics’ Choice and Golden Globes Awards.

An insider told Mail Online:

“She’s put everything into helping the boys have the best start in the industry. She’s put her own career on the back burner to help them realise their dreams.”

Parents’ Careers

Chris Jupe, a filmmaker and producer based in Stockport, England, has directed and produced films starring Noah, including Psyche, & Sons, and the upcoming Parentfit. He is a partner at Funky Films and founder of Production Drive. His LinkedIn bio states:

“I am a passionate filmmaker, specialising in bespoke content, created for a client’s specific needs and capturing the message in a fun, funky, creative way.”

Katy Cavanagh, 52, whose real name is Kathryn Sarah Collins, is an English actress best known for playing Julie Carp in Coronation Street (2008-2015, returned last year), Mel in The Cops (1998-2001), and Sergeant Dawn “Spike” Milligan in Dalziel and Pascoe (2004). Upon leaving Coronation Street, she said:

“I have decided it’s time to take a break from the cobbles and pursue other projects and opportunities… I’m looking forward to a new challenge and a pair of flat shoes.”

She has also appeared in Shameless, Bob & Rose, and Murder on the Blackpool Express, and served as a “momager” to her sons during her hiatus.

Brothers’ Bond and Hamnet

Noah and Jacobi starred together in Hamnet, with Jacobi playing the title role and Noah as Hamlet. In a USA Today interview, Noah called his casting “brotherly nepotism” and praised Jacobi’s performance. Jacobi credited his mother for encouraging his audition.

The brothers, raised by a producer father and actor mother, share a close bond from childhood activities like stunt fighting and watching films. Noah noted:

“More than anything, we’ve just shared love and support for one another.”

Jacobi is also slated for a new Exorcist film.
