Sterling K. Brown teased his wife Ryan Michelle Bathe’s standout moments in Hulu’s Paradise Season 2 during interviews at the show’s premiere on Feb. 23, while Bathe joined the cast in a mystery role and began hosting the companion recap podcast. The couple, married nearly 20 years since 2006, shared insights on their enduring partnership amid the event’s red carpet buzz.
Brown, known for This Is Us and 9-1-1: Lone Star, plays Xavier, a Secret Service agent searching for his missing wife in the post-apocalyptic thriller’s second season, which premiered Feb. 23.UPI interview. Speaking to ExtraTV at the premiere, Brown revealed Bathe appears in episode six as part of another character’s backstory, highlighting “a look” she gives to the camera.
“What she’s reacting to is hopefully something that she’s never reacted to in our lives together as married people.”
Bathe, whose credits include Boston Legal, Army Wives and The First Wives Club, joked about resisting spoilers from her husband, drawing from past experience with This Is Us.Us Weekly.
“I know better [than to ask]… Because I tried to beg for spoilers for This Is Us. And he’s like, ‘No, I’m telling you nothing.'”
